New Claude is now smarter with Integrations, a new feature that connects AI to your favorite apps and tools. Anthropic is also expanding Claude’s Research capabilities with an advanced mode that searches the web, your Google Workspace, and now your Integrations too.
Integrations bring Claude’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) into action on a broader scale. Previously limited to Claude Desktop, MCP now works across remote servers and desktop applications, lower friendly collaboration between AI and business tools. Developers can build and host MCP servers to enhance Claude’s capabilities, while users can now integrate their preferred platforms directly into Claude’s workflow.
As of now, Claude supports 10 popular services, including Jira, Confluence, Zapier, Cloudflare, Intercom, Asana, Square, Sentry, PayPal, Linear, and Plaid. More tools integrations with Stripe and GitLab are on the way.

Developers can also create custom integrations in just 30 minutes using Anhropic documentation and Cloudflare’s OAuth authentication, transport handling, and integrated deployment.
Cloud + Zapier Integration gives Claude access to thousands of apps via pre-built workflows, connecting thousands of apps through pre-built workflows, and automating processes across your software stack.
With Jira and Confluence, Claude can help manage tasks and generate documentation effortlessly. Intercom’s AI agent Fin, now an MCP client, allows Claude to track feedback, debug issues, and streamline customer support.
Claude’s New Advanced Research
Similar to ChatGPT’s DeepThink, Claude Advanced Research seems to expand the research quality for results. Claude can now perform checks across hundreds of sources, taking between 5 to 45 minutes to deliver a detailed response to the user.
As of now, new Claude Integrations and advanced Research features are now available in beta on the Max, Team, and Enterprise plans, and will soon be available on Pro.
