Recent data highlights that Windows 10 still dominates the market, holding 62.33% of the user base, while Windows 11 lags behind at 34.07%.

Many users argue that Windows 10 is stable, familiar, and meets their needs without the hassle of adapting to a new Windows 11 interface or dealing with compatibility issues.

One major issue preventing users from upgrading to Windows 11 is hardware limitations. Windows 11 has strict system requirements, including TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, which many older devices lack.

Microsoft is aggressively marketing to encourage Windows 11 adaptation, including full-screen pop-ups urging users to buy new Copilot+ PCs.
The company claims that Windows 11 offers 50% faster workflows and 62% fewer security incidents compared to previous Windows 10. However, experts argue that these benefits do not outweigh the inconvenience of upgrading, especially for casual users who prioritize system stability over features.
Despite Microsoft’s push, many Windows 10 loyal users are determined to continue using Windows 10 OS for as long as possible.
