A new AI subscription plan “Google AI Ultra”


Google has introduced a new AI subscription plan at the Google I/O 2025 event, Google AI Ultra. Google targets filmmaker, developer, creative professional or demanding users by this Google AI with the highest level of access, the Google AI Ultra plan is built for you — think of it as your VIP pass to Google Al.

As of now, Google AI Ultra is available in the U.S. for $249.99/month (with a special offer for first-time users of 50% off for your first three months). Google says it is coming to more countries very soon.

Google AI Ultra subscribers will get access to the Gemini app, with Deep Research, video generation via Veo 2, and early access to Veo 3. A new Deep Think mode in Gemini 2.5 Pro is also set to launch soon, improving AI reasoning capabilities.

For filmmakers, the Flow tool—powered by Veo, Imagen, and Gemini—enables 1080p video generation and advanced camera controls. The Whisk tool allows users to animate images into short videos, while NotebookLM offers enhanced AI-powered research and study assistance.

Google integrating Google AI Ultra into Google apps like Gmail, Docs, and Chrome, providing personalized assistance for productivity.

Plus, subscribers will get access to Project Mariner, an experimental AI agent by Google capable of managing up to 10 concurrent tasks, such as booking appointments and conducting research.

The subscription plan includes a YouTube Premium subscription and 30 TB of cloud storage in Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos.

Simultaneously, Google’s AI Premium plan has been rebranded as Google AI Pro, offers new features at no extra cost. University students in select countries—including Japan, Brazil, Indonesia, the UK, and the US—will now receive free access to Google AI Pro.
